Marcin Bondarowicz was born in 1976 in Starachowice, Poland. He studied at the Institut of technology in Radom, Poland, from which he graduated with masters degree in graphic design and painting. He is working as a freelance artist creating cartoons, posters and illustrations for business magazines, socio-political magazines, as well as online information portals. For many years he has worked with Polish & international press (including: „Forbes”, „Focus”, „Media & Marketing Polska”, „Manager Magazin”, „Harvard Business Review Polska”, „BusinessWeek”, „Newsweek – Polska”, „Eulenspiegel Satiremagazin”, “Berliner Kurier” (Germany), „Cartoon Weekly” (China), „Pulse” (Great Britain), „HIMAL Southasian” (Nepal) and many others). Marcin Bondarowicz participated in both national and international competitions in editorial & satirical drawing and his artworks were awarded numerous prestigious prizes (we can mention at least: 1st prize at the International Contest of Pictorial Humour and Flash Humour Baracaldo, Spain 2006, 1st Prize at the Competition of Caricature and Short Comic Strip Serbia 2007, 1st Prize at the Caricature without words, Gold Prize at 6th FreeCartoonsWeb International Cartoonet Festival, China 2008, 1st Prize at the International Cartoon Competition, Berlin, Germany 2010, Best work Prize at Gold Panda International Cartoon and Illustration Competition, China 2011, 1st Prize at the Competition for the EX LIBRIS Public Library, Wachock, 2012, among many others). He is often invited to be a member of juries of cartoon competitions in many countries ( Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Romania, etc). A wide number of Marcin’s artworks can be found in public and private collections in Poland and in foreign countries. Marcin Bondarowicz is living and working in Starachowice, Poland.
