Jacek Frackiewicz was born on 4th January 1964 in Sedziejowice, Poland. He studied (1984-1990) at the Faculty of Arts of the Higher School of Pedagogy in Czestochowa (now the Academy of Jan Dlugosz) where he graduated with Diploma with distinction from the graphic arts – Professor G. Banaszkiewicz, Professor R. Osadczy. In 1997 – 1998, Jacek Frackiewicz was granted a scholarship of Minister of Culture and Art of Poland. He is working as a freelance artist concentrated mainly to graphic art, painting, illustration and satirical drawing. Jacek Frackiewicz presented his creative work at more than 126 individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad – Germany, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Croatia, Denmark, Serbia, Ukraine. He participated in over 850 collective exhibitions of paintings, prints, illustrations and satirical drawings all over the world. He has taken part at number of international competitions and his artworks have been awarded 112 prestigious prizes and honors (Poland, Brasil, Croatia, Romania, China, Slovakia, Serbia, Syria, Iran, Israel, Bulgaria, Portugal, etc). He was invited to be a member of Juries of the international contests in Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Russia and Czech Republic. Artworks by Jacek Frackiewicz have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines in many countries (Wprost, Szpilki, Charaktery, Wiadomosci Kulturalne, Jazzi Magazine, Polityka, Playboy, Gazeta Czestochowska, Wiener Journal (Wien), Dialog (Bonn), Mida, Przeglad, Aleje 3, etc). His artworks are in the collections of domestic and foreign museums, galleries, and private collections.
