Alessandro Gatto was born in 1957 in Castelfranco Veneto, provincia Treviso, Italy. He is working as a freelance artist and is concentrated mainly to the activities of designer and painter. Alessandro Gatto has carried out many important works for various companies and public corporations from Italy and many other countries (USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, England, Germany, Greece, Algeria, …). Since 1985 he has created numerous illustrations and humoristic graphics. His cartoons have been published in a large number of newspapers and magazines in Italy and abroad. He also participates in numerous reviews and collective exhibitions in Italy and many countries of the world. For his original and innovative artworks he has been awarded about 100 prestigious prizes and mentions at international cartoon competitions and festivals all over the world (among many others we can mention at least 1st prizes he won in 2011 – in Legnica (Poland), Vianden (Luxembourg), Kruisthoutem (Belgium), Baku (Azerbaijan)). Alessandro Gatto is currently one of the most successful cartoonists and his works are considered masterpieces. He is living and working in Castelfranco V.to (TV), Italy.
