Raul Fernando Zuleta was born on 22nd March 1983 in Guarne, Colombia. Artist, cartoonist, art teacher and art historian; with Undergraduate Master of Arts (National University of Colombia), Master in Art History and a Diploma in Art Criticism (University of Antioquia) and professor of the same university. He is recognized as one of the valuable members of the latest generation of cartoonists and Latin American artists. He has won over 40 international awards in different countries around the world (Colombia, Iran, Turkey, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, China, Macedonia, etc.), including the award highlighted in the 2013 World Press Cartoon Portugal. Let us mention some of them: 2015 – World Gallery of Cartoons, Skopje, Macedonia – Special award; World Press Freedom International Editorial Cartoon Competition Canada – Award of excellence; International “Smiling Cat” Cartoon Web Contest Azerbaijan – Honorable Mention; Salon Mercosur International Diogenes Taborda Argentina – 1st Prize; 2014 – “Silk Road” International Cartoon Competition China – Silver Medal; International Competition city of ideas Mexico – 2nd Prize, and many others. His cartoons have been selected in many competitions and exhibitions worldwide. In addition he had two retrospective exhibitions of cartoons in Mexico (Museum of the Mexican Society of Cartoonists DF) and Argentina (Fontanarrosa Roberto Rosario Cultural Center). He is the winner of Scholarship Stimulus creative talent Antioquia, Colombia 2014. Currently he publishes in newspapers El Espectador and El Colombiano in Colombia, Fenamizah magazine in Turkey, Catrasca in Argentina, among other means. His drawings have been included in many catalogs, magazines and websites worldwide. Raul Fernando Zuleta is living and working in Antioquia, Colombia.
